Our little girl is showing to be quite clever and inquisitive so we’ve been looking for things to do to stimulate her little mind and help her development along. My husband suggested Eureka! as a place to take her so off we went! Its an interactive museum based in Halifax which was a fairly easy drive for us from Nottingham.

Gardens by the Bay, Singapore
On Day 1 of our trip to Singapore we visited Gardens by the Bay. Our interest was piqued upon seeing them on David Attenborough’s programme Wild City.
Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh
We visited Palace of Holyroodhouse after we’d been to Edinburgh Castle. Its on the other end of the Royal Mile from the castle so its a pretty easy walk downhill to get to. You also walk past the Scottish Parliament on your way so you’ll know you’re on the right track if you see that!
Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh
One of the biggest sights to see in Edinburgh (in my opinion) is the Edinburgh Castle which is built on Castle Rock. The castle dominates a lot of the skyline so you won’t be able to miss it.
St Lucia Rain Forest Adventure, St Lucia
Rain Forest Adventure is located in Chassin in the Babonneau region found in the North East part of St Lucia. They have various available activities for you to enjoy.
Holme Pierrepont Hall, Nottingham
We first discovered this hidden gem of Nottingham by attending a wedding fair there in Nov 2013! It was the very first venue we’d visited but we fell in love with it immediately.
It is an early Tudor manor house and a Grade 1 listed building in Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham and is the family home of the Brackenbury family.
