Recently we visited Mod Pizza in Nottingham. Its been open in the market square for a fairly long while now but we’ve just never tried it. The basis is very much like Inferno Pizza (now Pizza Storm) where you pick your own sauce, toppings, etc.

Ecco Pizzeria, Leeds
Back in May we visited my brother and his wife in Leeds. They took us out for a lovely meal at Ecco Pizzeria. We went to the Roundhay branch but I am told they also have a branch in Headingley.
The Risley Park, Nottingham
Earlier this month my husband and I visited Risley Park for our anniversary dinner. He’s been several times with his brother and father but this was my first time. Although we’d gone after 8pm it was absolutely rammed which was a good indication that its a popular place to visit.
Marrakesh Restaurant, Nottingham
On Saturday night we were out with friends and visited Marrakesh. This was the 2nd time I’d been as the first time was several years ago with the very same friends. Its on Chapel Bar in the city centre just off Market Square. We entered the restaurant fairly late (close to 9pm) and were seated quickly as the restaurant wasn’t full. We were sat near the back of the restaurant.
Nottingham Street Food Club, Nottingham
Earlier this month we decided to give the Street Food Club a go. Its been open in the Intu Victoria Centre Shopping Centre for a while now but because of its location we’ve never been bothered. However, the husband saw some photos on Facebook of food served there and we thought we’d try it. We’ve also tried a similar concept in Leeds.
Fat Bird, Singapore
On our 2nd night in Singapore we met up with another group of friends at Fat Bird in Bugis. Its address is 1 Liang Seah St #01-15/16, Singapore 189022. It looks like a really busy restaurant from the outside. We were sat upstairs which is rather small and cosy but still allows for several tables.
Koh Grill & Sushi Bar, Singapore
On the 1st night in Singapore we met up with some friends for dinner at Koh Grill & Sushi Bar. This restaurant is situated in a shopping mall called Wisma Atria Shopping Centre.
The Pudding Pantry, Nottingham
In March we visited The Pudding Pantry for the 2nd time since it opened. Our first visit was back in 2014. I’d also visited on my own with people from work for a baby shower so it was my 3rd visit. The Pudding Pantry opened in Trinity Square in April 2014.
Kaspas, Nottingham
I’ve been looking forward to Kaspas opening in Nottingham for absolute months! We finally got to go in March after our visit to Red’s as the dessert options there weren’t the best. Its situated on Maid Marian Way and is quite easy to spot.
Red’s True Barbecue, Nottingham
In early March we visited Red’s True Barbecue with a group of friends. For Keith and I it was our second time in quite a few years since it had opened. We went on a Saturday which as you can imagine required quite a long waiting time as its quite a popular and busy place but for some reason did not allow us to reserve a table. However luckily they have a system in place that allows customers to go away for a while and get a notification when their table is ready.
