This weekend we visited the Potting Shed Café Restaurant for Keith’s godmother’s birthday celebration meal. There was 10 of us (8 adults and 2 under 2s). My mother-in-law booked it and from all accounts it was fairly easy to do.
The café/restaurant is situated in the Plant Pot Garden Centre in Lichfield.

We visited Bendigo Lounge today to meet up with some friends. It wasn’t to have a meal so I’m afraid I can’t comment too much on their actual meals. We had drinks and sundaes. The sundaes were very delicious. Service from most of the staff was decent.

Lewinnick Lodge is a sister restaurant to The Plume of Feathers so we thought we’d book it as our final evening meal out. Again it was easy to book it online and request a high chair.

This restaurant was suggested to us in the binder provided by the hosts of our cottage so we booked it on a whim. It was helpful that it was a short drive away as well. I was able to book it very quickly on their website. I’d also requested a high chair on the online booking. They have a sister restaurant/hotel called Lewinnick Lodge.

At the weekend we visited Lagan with some friends of ours for a late dinner. Lagan has only been open since the first May bank holiday weekend and is where the old post office used to be on Chilwell Road in Beeston. It is a branch of Mewar Haveli in Radcliffe (we’ve never been but have been told its very good) that serves Indian tapas!

Recently we visited Mod Pizza in Nottingham. Its been open in the market square for a fairly long while now but we’ve just never tried it. The basis is very much like Inferno Pizza (now Pizza Storm) where you pick your own sauce, toppings, etc.
