I’ve been looking forward to Kaspas opening in Nottingham for absolute months! We finally got to go in March after our visit to Red’s as the dessert options there weren’t the best. Its situated on Maid Marian Way and is quite easy to spot.
The restaurant is furnished and decorated very much like an American diner. Full of vinyl/leather booths but all following a very specific colour scheme of pink and black. Upon being seated you’re given menus. You then have to go up to the counter to place your orders and pay.
Kaspas is basically your dedicated dessert restaurant. They serve sundaes, waffles and crepes, cakes and puddings, and milkshakes and smoothies.
I ordered the After Eight Mint Choc sundae while Keith had the Hot Fudge Sundae. Ordering was quick and easy (once you actually decide from the multitude of choices which isn’t easy!!) and the desserts arrive quite quickly. From what we could see over the counter all the cooked and hot desserts were being cooked from scratch quite fresh.

For the price you pay per dessert you definitely get a hell of a lot in each. I only managed to finish about 3/4 of mine! The next time we visit I might skip the main meal and just have one of these sundaes!
Service was pretty decent and everything was dealt with quite quickly in terms of taking of orders, payment and delivery of orders.
It was all delicious and I will definitely be coming back!
